How to Setup GeyserMC for Cross-platform Play Between Java & Bedrock

GeyserMC allows Bedrock clients to connect to Java servers.

Written Instructions:

Stop your server if it's running.

You will need to download the latest versions of GeyserMC and Floodgate.

Download the appropriate version for your server type:

If you're running a different fork of Spigot like Paper, use the Spigot variant anyway.

Using the File Manager or SFTP Client, upload GeyserMC & Floodgate to the plugins folder.

Start the server to generate the configuration files.

Wait for the server to fully boot. If you get an error check the Console to figure out what's going on. If you need too, submit a ticket or contact Discord Support.

Once the server fully boots, Stop the server once again.

Navigate to the Network tab & take note of your Primary Port.

Using the File Manager or SFTP Client, navigate to the plugins folder.

Open the Geyser folder, then open the config.yml file.

Locate port: 19132 and replace the default port with your Primary server Port found under the Network tab from earlier.

Save the file & Start the server!
