Connect to External Servers on Console Bedrock Edition

Connecting to the server of your choice can be a chore especially on console because it is not officially supported by Microsoft, but luckily there are 3 easy ways to connect.

Before you start, make sure your game is fully updated and you're logged in with your Microsoft Account in-game before you select your connection method.

Phantom

Phantom is a LAN Proxy server that runs on your PC or Mac device. This creates a fake server or your network allowing you to connect to your desired server as if it's being hosted locally. We highly recommend this method because from our testing we can guarantee this works for every console.

DNS Servers

DNS Servers work by changing the network settings on your console. If you change this, when you try to connect to a Featured Server in game, it redirects you to a prompt allowing you to connect to a server of your choice. If you don't have an available PC or Mac, we recommend this method for Xbox and Switch Editions of Minecraft only. PlayStation Edition usually has no success with this method, therefore we do not recommend it for this console.

BedrockTogether

BedrockTogether is a LAN Proxy server similar to Phantom that runs on your iOS or Android device.
